He has led the design and delivery of numerous GIPB-focused conferences and training courses around the world, covering over 100 countries in recent years. Prior to joining the World Bank Group in 2003, he worked for Scottish Enterprise for fifteen years – Europe’s largest integrated regional development agency, holding a variety of posts such as Director for Strategy and Research and Head of Program Evaluation, as well as operational posts in FDI promotion (Locate in Scotland) and local economic development.
